This is a detailed course explaining pressure ulcers, care, prevention and understanding how the skin works.
This course is set to be completed within a two hour session. It is delivered using a power point presentation, watching a D.V.D. and using a flip chart to detail grades of ulcers. There are 2 activities included in this sessions, and there is a quiz at the end to ensure knowledge gained. No special clothing is required. Handout will be available at the end of the course

-How ulcers are formed
-What to look for and when to act
-Who is at risk?
-The grades of ulcers (pictures included)
-The times that ulcers will occur
