An update course delivered in accordance with Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
This course is delivered over a four hour session. This is delivered by completing a set of relevant questions, guided viewing of DVDs. Handouts will be available at the end of the course.
The course is based around the candidates own knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures, and work practice.
Course content :-
An in-depth questionnaire, relating to legislation, guidelines and work practice. Candidates to complete this either individually or as part of a group.
The practical element of this session is candidate generated scenarios and use of actual equipment. This helps to reflect on their own skills and practice standards, and helps to alleviate any manual handling work based issues or concerns.
