Accessibility
Many internet users with disabilities find websites difficult or even impossible to use simply because of the way they are designed. We have a responsibility under the Disability Disccrimination Act (DDA) to ensure our pages are accessible to all and we take this responsibility very seriously. If you come across a part of our site that is difficult to use, or could be improved in terms of accessibility, we apologise and would be grateful if you could contact us. Your feedback is an invaluable part of the process of improving our site.
When Independent Training website was designed we took a number of accessibility issues into account.
One consideration was that or partially sighted users and the ability for them to be able to re-size the text on the independent training website using their browser This allows people who have difficulty in reading small text on screen to view the pages clearly.
How to change your text size:
Internet Explorer
First select Text Size from that menu
Finally make sure you have Medium selected (for standard text size - you may choose another text setting if you wish, larger than standard text).
Firefox
First select View from your browser toolbar.
Then select Zoom from that menu
Next select Zoom text (skip this step to increase all page elements).
Finally select Zoom In to change the font size (you can repeat this process until yoou find a font size that is suitable for your needs).
